About Jeff Bridges
Jeff Bridges is an American actor, singer and producer. He was born on the 4th of December, 1949, in Los Angeles, California. He started his acting career as a child actor when he was two years old appearing in the film “The Company She Keeps” in 1951. Bridges and his brother Beau Bridges started making appearances on their father’s shows, “Sea Hunt” and “The Lloyd Bridges Show”. In 1971, Bridges got his first major role as Mike in the television movie “Search of America”. In 1972 he starred in the boxing film “Fat City” directed by John Huston. The next year he starred in the movie “The Last American Hero” based on the NASCAR driver Junior Jackson. In 1982, he got one of his most recognizable roles, as Kevin Flynn, in the science fiction movie iconic movie “Tron” directed by Steven Lisberger. He reprised that role in 2010 with the sequel “Tron: Legacy”. Bridges has also produced several movies, including “Living in the Future’s Past” in 2018. He has been nominated and he has won numerous times at prestigious Awards like the 2009 Academy Awards for Best Actor, which he earned for his work in “Crazy Heart”.
