Known by his stagename AraabMuzik, the DJ and record producer was born Abraham Orellana on June 16, 1989, hailing from Providence, Rhode Island. He used the Internet as his greatest resource in spreading word of his music, and is recognized for his quick drum beats and use of samples. At three years old, Orellana learned how to play the drums, followed by the keyboard, and began making his own beats when he was just ten. He started creating music and beats for other artists, and between 2010 and 2013, released seven mixtapes in total of his productions as well as remixes.

Abraham Orellana has been instrumental in the production of various tracks and albums such as Crime Pays by Cam’ron and “Salute” from The Diplomats, a rap group. He appeared under the name AraabMuzik at the 2014 Roots Picnic in Philadelphia, along with Snoop Dogg, The Roots, Action Bronson, and Janelle Monáe, among others.
