Cyndi Lauper is an 80s generational classic and a multi-platinum selling, Grammy-Award-winning singer and songwriter best known for cross-generational songs like “Girls Just Want to Have Fun”, which has 800 million views on YouTube today. Lauper first became known following the release of her album “She’s so Unusual”. Her tracks included the megahit “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” and “Time After Time”. She then won the Grammy for Best New Artist. Lauper is also well-known for having written and choreographed the musical Kinky Boots, which won six Tony Awards, including for best musical.
